Love the old school look

This game is in my top five iPhone games ever. Please fix avalanche mode for ios 5.

This is still my all-time favorite game on the iPhone. Highest recommendation.

But the last update was almost a year ago. Cant u at least submit the patch for the loading bug on avalanche mode?

I loved Hook Champ; I completed all the levels, got all but the very last forbidden hat, and even bought the two extra characters. Eventually, I got bored. I have now moved onto Super QuickHook, and I think I will be playing it for quite a while! The hats, hooks, characters, and dialogue are as great as (if not better than) Hook Champ, and Avalanche/ Eruption mode offers endless challenge!

If you enjoyed Hook Champ, youll enjoy this - but I feel Hook Champ is superior in the following ways: * There was steady improvement (equipment wise) as you advanced. In SQH, I had every performance upgrade before I had started the third set of levels. I can blame this, unfortunately, on the glitch that forced me to get 2000 points in Avalanche mode before advancing. * Hook Champ had an actual story; this started to have one but does not continue it through out the levels. I had hoped I would be playing as the hermit, trying to find a new place to live - but instead Im some lame guy without a story. * Hook Champ had a better graphical style, imo - though this is subjective; they both have a fairly retro style, but Hook Champ is dark and mysterious whereas this is bright and fun. * Hook Champ had awesome dialogue. * Hook Champ had an awesome shopkeeper. The awesome things about SQH are: * that its an awesome Grappling Hook game * More levels of Hook Champ (though, like I said, the game play is a bit different) * That its faster, but not too fast * A randomized level that resets on every play * A fun game that you can play for a few minutes * The awesome dialogue (theres tons: I still havent run out and Ive been playing since release) in the shop On that note - I would prefer if the avalanche did not reset after each run - doing that would actually allow for more exploration. Id also like a randomized level without the time constraints. I also wish the game didnt have the glitches when it starts up. If I have too many programs running in the background, some levels (ZigZag Horror, for example) are unplayable, even with the settings turned down. Im looking forward to Update 3!

Addictive & fun, but crashes during both endless modes. Fix this & I will give final star.

Remove the garbage that is openfeint and add gamecenter.

I recommend this game to everyone I know but be careful because open feint is closing and if you dont remove that from the game it will become crippled. Do what doodle jump did and create your own score database.

This is such an awesome game. It gets very difficult at times but you can unlock awesome stuff from the store like new hooks or new hats. AWESOME game get It definitely.

THE BEST EVER IN MY LIFE

I love this game much!!! However... Is it ever going to be updated for newer devices?

Ive loved this game for years, and downloaded it again very recently. However, with OpenFeint gone, the games become borderline unplayable! None of my game saves, so I have to constantly start over from where I was a long while back. That being said, theres a ton of very tough, very polished content, and its well worth the money. I wholly recommend it, but do watch out for losses of save data

The game wont save for me and prevents me from progressing. Also I cant sign into the online server to save aswell.
